Christian Ebner

I have a PhD in microbiology and have been a senior scientist at the Department of Environmental Engineering at the University of Innsbruck since 2018, as well as co-founder and shareholder of the spin-off company BioTreaT GmbH. Before that, I was laboratory manager of a wastewater treatment plant for 12 years and at the same time active in applied research projects. I have over 2 decades of experience in analysing and developing processes for biological wastewater and waste treatment. The motivation and goal of my work is to understand processes in order to develop functioning and effective technologies for wastewater and waste treatment.
